Why has my GPS sent me out to the boonies?
Good question - and we wish we had an answer. For some reason 656 Highway 6,
Caledonia sometimes results in directions a good 10 or 15 minutes south of where you should be.
It's mighty pretty country but it's not Applegate & James. So here're a few tips on finding us.
We're on Highway 6 about 10 minutes south of Hamilton on the way to Lake Erie.
That's important because there's another Highway 6 out of Hamilton that sends you north to
Lake Huron/Georgian Bay (not even close to us). Our address is Caledonia (one of the most charming towns
in Southern Ontario) but we're actually on the outskirts towards Hamilton. By the way,
don't get confused by the house numbers if you're coming from that direction - Caledonia numbers don't
start until you pass Haldibrook Road. We're a couple minutes up from there on the east side next to an RV Sales Centre.
There's a Paint and Flooring store and Nursery on the other side of us making for a hard to miss block of businesses
(drop in on them when you visit). That's just a couple hundred yards before the stoplight at the Highway 6 bypass around Caledonia.
